Hello! This is my Namie Amuro Page! Namie Amuro is THE QUEEN OF J-POP IN JAPAN! She has tons and tons of mega hit singles and her debut album, "Sweet 19 Blues" is a million plus seller in Japan! She is a strong and beautiful woman. Her voice is captivating and lovely to hear. Many girls in Japan are copying her style by dying their hair light brown, wearing short skirts and chunky high platforms (which Namie must wear, she refuses to wear any other type of shoe). Her most recent work is a new single called, "Respect the Power of Love". She has 4 complete albums out and 19 singles out. There are tons and tons of webpages dedicated to her, so if you want to find out even more about her (that I can't give you) then make sure that your search for her on the web. She has a winning smile that is absoulutley goregous! I find her fasinating because she has such a powerful voice and she is so young (she is 22 acording to my BAD math). She was born in Okinawa, Japan on September 20th, 1977. Her parents got a divorce soon after her birth and her mother raised her by her self. Later on in her life, she and her musical group the SuperMonkeys in 1992 with their song "Mr. USA". It wasn't a major hit and the band wasn't either (right away at least). They went on to making 7 more singles (i.e. "Try Me", "Taiyo No Season" and Stop the Music". It was after "Stop the Music" that she left the SuperMonkeys to go solo. The rest is pretty much the cookie cutter story of getting famous (you know, getting with Japan's best music producer, Tetsuya Komuro, and making her voice heard on her OWN ablum). Not that I'm saying it wasn't a great way of becoming a star (don't get me wrong here!). It's just a decision that most smart superstars in ANY country would do!

You may be wondering why this page is titled:Namie Amuro-The Captain. Well, the reason is because I am creating a boat of me! My name is Kimberly Powell and I am the creator of this webpage. I have made one other page called "The Glitter Fish Pardise". It is a page of all my short stories. There aren't too many (just three to be exact) but I'm working on writing more.
